I am a current sophomore at James Madison University pursuing a major in History and a minor in Human Resource Development. I have been babysitting since I was in the 7th grade to children from the ages of 3 months to 14 years old. Due to these many years of babysitting, I have experience in working with children of all ages which helps me understand the general abilities and interests with any age. These jobs included scheduling and managing multiple activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, organizing and facilitating creative activities and games, arts and crafts, enthusiastically run errands, complete chores for light housekeeping, and most importantly create a safe, nurturing environment. I have 100+ service hours that include being a CCD teachers assistant, aftercare help, and summer camp counselor. All of these experiences have developed my passion for helping and assisting children while creating an entertaining environment.
