As my resume states, I have a project management background which includes: special events, finance, computer skills, organizational skills, thinking on my feet and customer interaction. Marketing and community outreach have been a part of my career from the beginning. When I worked for AT&T as a customer service representative I won awards for my communication technique and sales. I have spent years communicating with customers, corporate sponsors, parents, companies, management and co-workers on the phone and in person. I was an athlete for 15 years which taught me to set goals and achieve them. I have a strong work ethic. I have experience and enjoy working with people that come from different demographics and backgrounds. I worked with several types of databases and software over my career. I have done desktop publishing, writing and editing documents. I have organized events for school children, corporate sponsors, university employees, personal friends and co-workers. I have managed finances for programs, departments and personal businesses. I have trained volunteers to work with children and parents in the community to tutor them in education skills.
