I have a nephew that has Asperger's. This is what first interested me in this field. I then applied at Help at Home. Where I was thoroughly trained on many different kinds of disabilities. I discovered that I loved this line of work. I have worked there since December of 2013. I have even changed my career path to something more directed towards this field. I love who I work with and I love making a difference in my consumers lives. I have worked with clients from ages 7-75 years old. I have worked with many different diagnosis. Autism to cerebral palsy. I have assisted with implementing behavior plans to transferring the client into bed. I feel I am very well rounded.
