About Melody

I need a minimum of 32 hours per week, but I'm flexible with days and time. I have a great deal of experience with children of all ages, having spent many years as a stay-at-home mom to three amazing children. I participated in coop preschool with my kids and also did child care swaps throughout that time. I have over 30 hours of continuing education in early child development and I have also worked with special education students of all ages, through our local school district. Caring for children feeds my soul and I have a great enthusiasm for helping them grow to become confident and well-adjusted individuals. I adhere primarily to positive discipline by encouraging a child's good behavior and praising them for it. I have a great sense of humor and adore children. Every day is a brand new adventure with kids!
