About Melody
I have tutored since elementary school, beginning with reading books to younger students. Ever since, I have loved teaching and helping others learn. I plan to pursue my Master's Degree in Special Education with an emphasis in autism so that I can teach or provide behavior therapy to autistic children. I have taught as a home school tutor for grade school students and enjoyed helping them understand the material. I love incorporating games, music, and art into lessons, and continue to explore multiple routes until the child fully understands the material.

Melody tutored my daughter with ADHD during her summer break and she was very in tune with her needs. As a child with ADHD my daughter loses focus easily; however, Melody knew exactly what to do to get her back on track. She had a variety of creative activities that taught her well. Moreover, she was ahead of her class when school started the next year. I would highly recommend Melody!
