Helping people comes as a second nature to me. I have experience giving assistance to people who are sick, injured, mentally or physically disabled, or who are elderly and fragile. As a caregiver, I've worked in homes and helped clients with daily activities, such as bathing and bathroom functions, feeding, grooming, taking medication and some housework. I've performed the following duties: - Bathe, dress and feed infants, children, elderly, or disabled clients; - Plan, arrange and serve meals for clients and might carry out other cleaning duties; - Organize and take part in activities; for instance games, crafts, reading and outings to amuse and exercise; - Watch over children's or elderly client's activities, for example meals and rest periods, as instructed; - Teach children in special hygiene and social development; - Participate in emotional well-being of children and elderly; - Assist clients with extracurricular activities; - Assist clients with homework.
