Hello my name is Melissa I am a positive energetic fun individual who enjoys caring for people with various illness, diagnosis, and handicaps. I have 20+ yrs experience in this field and 13 yrs as a licensed vocational nurse. My nursing experience has been primarily in long term care facility's AKA nursing homes. I also have experience with individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injury in a group home settings. I would like to be able to provide more 1:1 care as the facility's nurse to resident ratio is overwhelming at times and stressful.
