Hi there! I am 27 years old and licensed to teach Special Ed. I am currently looking for extra work as I am in an exciting life transition! I have experience with a multitude of disabilities such as Autism, Rett syndrome, CP, learning disabilities, and various mental health and behavioral needs. I've held many roles- babysitter, nanny, Au pair, Best Buddies chapter president and teacher. My goal is to provide safety, respect and dignity, and integration into the community (as well as FUN of course!) I'm experienced in assisting with ADLs, positive behavior reinforcement and redirection, therapies, communication devices and equipment, and my favorite- inclusion in the community. I have had the privilege to work for a family whose daughter has Rett Syndrome for the past 8 years and we started a blog about accessibility and inclusion on Cape Cod- I would love to share if interested!
