I have worked in the mental health/social work field for the past five years since receiving my undergraduate degree in psychology. Since that time I have had the pleasure of holding a position as a case manager at a partial care program for individuals diagnosed with a developmental disability. While holding that position I ran several types of therapy groups including but not limited to activities of daily living, anger management, problem solving, and educational based groups (math, writing, reading). I have also had the pleasure of working with individuals diagnosed with a severe and persistent mental illness as well as have worked in the substance abuse area. In May 2016 I will have received my Master's in Social Work from New York University and plan to become a Licensed Social Worker at that time.
