I know from experience how hard it can be to have super-educated, qualified teachers who are actually so smart, it's difficult for them to help students who think differently than they do. I've always studied with the philosophy that you don't really know it until you can teach it to someone new and I think it's incredibly important in tutoring, school, and test prep. My methods adapt to the students specific needs, not just surface level memorization. From test anxiety, procrastination & motivation struggles, foundational math & science skills, up to advanced computer/business and calculus concepts. I strongly believe that true learning and memorization do not overlap - being able to understand concepts in a way that makes sense to YOU is my ultimate goal! I have experience tutoring grades 6-12 and AP/ACT test prep. My specialty is mathematics (algebra, pre-algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, calculus, AB/BC and college level calculus).
