About Medina

When I became a nanny in college I never knew it would change my life the way it has. Working with children is not only my career choice but it's my passion. From being an after school turor, to caring for children with special needs, I have succeeded in teaching as well as learning from children in a way I didn't know was possible. When tutoring I was able to teach children the skills they needed in order to excel in a subject. On the other hand, working with children with special needs taught me patience and not every child will learn the same way. Fast forward to present day when I'm now working as the director of a a before/after school program of 60+ students, I am also having to adjust my skills to match each individual child and situation at presented to me. I am currently looking for a full time position while I obtain my ME. D. in Childhood instruction and curriculum. I have my child abuse clearance as well as FBI fingerprints, my NSOR and my criminal state background check.
