My passion is working with children with special needs. I am currently a special education teacher working in a self contained classroom. I have experience working with children with Autism (both low functioning non-verbal to high functioning), Intellectually disabled, sensory and integration disorders, other health impairments, severe ADD, severe ADHD, and emotionally disturbed. I have experience in grades k-5 and even though its tough, I love doing what I do and seeing them succeed. I also have 3 years of substitute teaching experience, along with 13 years as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and a CPR and life-guarding class instructor. My passion is working with children and those with special needs.
