When I was 13 I began babysitting for a small group at my church once a week where I watched 5-8 kids from the ages of 2-10 y/o. I continued to babysit for that family (2 children ) and their small group for three years. I also babysat for two other families for the past 10 years, upon request. One family has two girls, now ages 11 and 13. In addition to at-home care, I was responsible for overnight care while the parents traveled, accompanied the family during vacations, and oversaw company parties with children of all ages. The other family had four boys, now ages 7, 10 (twins), and 13 y/o. In addition to at-home care, I was responsible for taking them to practice, speech therapy, and school. Throughout my time as a babysitter, I was responsible for household cleaning, laundry, preparing meals, dropping off/picking up from school and other activities, overseeing homework/ activities, and of course, fun.
