About Matthew

I have 10+ years of experience of tutoring and teaching with a strong focus on reading, writing, study skills and test preparation. I taught College Composition and Business Writing for 7 years and tutored students of all ages for 8 years. I am also a father of two young children, one of whom will be entering first grade. As a result of school closure, I gained experience with online learning for kindergartners. However, I have also taken many online courses as both an undergrad and grad student. I believe that once students are provided with a variety of skills for critical reading, studying, and note-taking, they can achieve success. In addition, I believe that all students are unique and I modify my teaching style based upon their needs.
