Hello! I'm part-time student at UT studying Disability Studies, graduating December 2022. I am currently a nanny seeking a new family! I also work Wednesdays in Ypsilanti, MI as the Administrative Director for Fun Girl Dance Company and School. My previous professional experiences are based in the special education field starting in 2014. Along with numerous other experiences in child care and education starting in 2010. When I am not working I am practicing yoga, hiking with my 3 dogs and husband, or dancing away at Fun Girl Dance Company and School. My motto is empathy and honesty when building a relationship with any kiddo. Any task can be made fun and have boundaries that teach accountability and self-control. Throughout my different educational experiences I've come to love and appreciate the pedagogy of discovery learning. Being in a learning partnership with the kiddo I am working with not only builds trust, but also gives them an opportunity to let their authentic self grow.
