About Mary

The last person I cared for said I was like a daughter to him; that made my day. After leaving education, I have spent the last six years caring for individual seniors in their homes. This one-on-one experience gives me the opportunity to relate to the needs of my clients in the same way as their family would. I love to travel and read; when appropriate, I try to relate those experiences to the people I help. I have assisted people with a variety of physical needs and a few with Alzheimer's. For example, the last gentleman I helped had very limited mobility. I helped with bathing, meal prep, shopping, medication management, running errands among other things. I keep the atmosphere light and positive. I bring my enthusiasm, flexibility, diligence, and an openness to all challenges into my care-giving. I honor families privacy; what happens in the home stays there. It is my desire to provide the same kind of care for your loved one that you would give. I may be available for full-time.
