I grew up in a large family and was 3rd of 7 children. I'm a loving, nurturing mother and new empty-nester. I've always enjoyed caring for my own and others' children and older adults. I recently left my role as director of assisted living & memory care. I have continuously worked in care-related fields. I have been teaching part-time (evenings) in higher education since 1995. I have cared for my physically & developmentally disabled Goddaughter for many years. When I am present to the individual and situation, we work our way through any challenge.
