About Mary

Mary was highly recommended to us via a friend, while I was still pregnant with my daughter, Penny, and I am so grateful for that serendipitous referral. My friend kept gushing about how much she and her daughter loved Mary and from the moment Mary started working with us I totally get why. I've now learned that Penny is a highly sensitive child, so she gets frustrated easily, is hyper aware and is extremely attached to me. From day one, Mary has shown incredible patience and nothing but love towards my "difficult" daughter, especially during the tough days. Now Mary has been nannying for us for about a year and a half and it is just such a joy to see the incredible bond she now has with Penny. Mary is always coming up with creative ways to engage Penny through nature, books, and everyday objects around the house. They often go outside on fun adventures to playgrounds, gardens, parks, etc., and I love that Penny is having so much fun learning and exploring with Mary. In a lot of ways, I believe it is because of Mary that Penny has learned to be so independent, confident in her abilities, and cooperative for her age. We have been so lucky to have such a patient, thoughtful, and kind nanny as Mary.
