I have worked with both college students and elementary age students, preparing for tests and learning important skill sets and foundations for written communication and topics under "liberal studies". I favor exercises which include repetition, applicable topics, and conversational tools to create memorable connections and promote interest in topics being discussed and taught. Hands on learning and full body engagement work well to create lasting impacts of materials; I create age-appropriate opportunities for students to demonstrate what they are learning through games, conversational tools, and activities not commonly found in the classroom. I prefer one-on-one approaches, maintaining patiences and excitement with each personal achievement of the learner. I have worked as a teacher for early childhood educations centers and worked at my undergraduate university as a writing editor, public speaking mentor, and subject-specific tutor.
