Certified early childhood teacher. Very nurturing, knowledgeable, and experienced. Thru college and for some years after, I nannied and worked in daycare centers. I went on to teach elementary school (1st and 3rd grades) for nine years, leaving the classroom a few years back to pursue a business venture. I have since become a mom and am seeking a childcare opportunity where I can nurture and engage children thru play, discovery, literature, and purposeful experiences, in order to nourish their social, physical and cognitive development. I look forward to planning fun learning activities, crafts, sensory play, meaningful outings, and more! My ideal match would be a progressive thinking family, who is open to me bringing along my 1yo daughter, or a family who is seeking care at caregiver's home.
