I am currently a graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin, where I am studying Higher Education Administration. I also am an employee for the university, working in Student Activities for the Dean of Students office.
Prior to this, I worked as a teacher's assistant in an elementary school where I taught all elementary subject areas. I worked specifically with children with individual learning programs, but also assisted throughout the entire classroom. With this particular position, I gained experience in all grades, K-5. Prior to this position, I worked as a substitute teacher for about a year and a half. In this position, I worked with children from K-12, in all subjects. I have earned a college degree from Rutgers University majoring in Sociology and Psychology. During my time in college, I worked as a Rutgers Future Scholar mentor, where I did high school tutoring in all subjects, as well as SAT prep work.
