About Mary-catherine

During my Undergrad I served as the President of Sigma Alpha Lambda, a national honors society, in which I developed and maintained a successful mentor program for incoming Freshman students. This idea occurred after my 2 year work study program where I devoted my free time tutoring fellow classmates. This newly developed program primarily focused on facilitating the necessary resources and opportunities for not only incoming college freshman but also grade/ high school students within the community who wished to successfully acclimate and or prepare for college. I take pride in how far I have come and I understand that hard work and dedication are essential for success. I also know that in order to become successful in your studies, students must also be able to identify with someone who is just as passionate about learning as they are about teaching.
