I started babysitting when I was a teenager and it was then I found my passion for children. I worked in the corporate world from 2000 - 2011. In 2009, I also started working part-time with children that have autism. I switched my career path to work with children (to include some w special needs), animals, and provide house cleanings in 2011. I've found my new line of work to be very rewarding. I also volunteer at my local church in the Sunday school class for special needs.
I enjoy taking kids on outings to playgrounds, hikes at parks, libraries, historical places, etc (age appropriate). I also try and provide arts and crafts to encourage learning, so it is more fun. I do not believe that television should be a "babysitter." I believe in teaching manners and encourage them to be used.
