About Martha

I am a Nationally Certified Professional Tutor (NTA). I have 30 years of experience teaching and tutoring. I tutor writing, reading, grammar, and vocabulary skills elementary through college level, MLA, APA, etc. I also tutor reading comprehension and fluency, math - elementary (Common Core and Traditional) Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II, test taking skills for all grades including SAT and ACT. I incorporate time management and study skills at all levels. I offer workshops with tips, resources and ideas to help parents incorporate learning into every aspect of home life to constantly enrich their child's reading, spelling, and math skills. I offer basic math and reading classes for students and parents in the summer to catch up to grade level. I am patient, kind, and creative. I am fully vaccinated and have a clear background check.
