I have not only worked in Special Education for over 25 years, but I am the mother of a Special Needs adult that function at about 18 months. I am also the grandmother of a Special Needs grandson with a rare genetic disorder. I have decades of experience with multiple diagnosis including seizures. I am limiting my availability to children under the age of five years old, as this is the population I work best with. As a mother of a son with ongoing health issues I have a unique perspective of empathy and assurance, that with consistency and a "never give up" attitude, that all will improve over time.
