I'd describe my personality as kind, hard-working and responsible. I like working with kids because I have loved ones with special needs and I see what a difference caregivers make in the Iives of both the child and the family. Being part of that is very rewarding. I'm looking for a job that begins after my first job which is from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I am interested in providing respite care for special needs families. I started working with kids when I was hired on by the Antioch Unified School District in 2009 as an Instructional Assistant for the Special Education Department. In my spare time, I like to exercise, bake & listen to live music. One thing you should know about me is that I have 3 adult children of my own and I understand the value of occasional support. My skills include patience, understanding and being a good listener.
