I am a very patient and caring individual, for most senior care is about the money. But for me it's much more than a paycheck, to me I'm in someone's home, I'm in someone's life 5 days a week, I care to build relationships with the lovely individuals I care for and get to know them. I help with house keeping, medication and appointment reminders, bathing and grooming, meal preparation and grocery shopping or errands, anything my client might need is what I do. My all time favorite thing to do is keep my clients company, I am very talkative and bubbly, a "social butterfly" if you will, and elders love that because they tend to be the same way, I love to hear their life stories, or just listen to how the day is going, sometimes even talking about random things, if I can make my clients smile and laugh then I did my job. To me that's the most rewarding part of the job.
