Hello families! Happy you are here. As a degreed and experienced (40+ years) caregiver, I am here to help with navigating this adventure. I also serve as an advocate and advisor to families who are new to home care and what that entails. I specialize in newborn/infant care preferably up to one year. I have been known to stay longer if our relationship is mutually happy. Family/home management care is available for a negotiable rate. I would prefer to work between 25-35 hours per week. However, I am flexible were a need to come up. I am also a DONA certified Doula (birth/post partum) and lactation specialist. My consultant rates start at $50 per hour. $3000 flat as your private Doula and my short term (ie: maternity leave), postpartum rates are adjustable according to the families' needs. Marie has been caring for our daughter since she was approximately 4 months old. Marie has been a wonderful addition to our daughter's life. As first time parents Marie brought knowledge and guidance to our young family. Our child had some medical complexities at birth and Marie has actively sought to learn about our child's condition and take extra care in assuring she is safe and healthy. Marie has a wonderful relationship with our now 18 month old and is incredibly active in engaging, playing and socializing our daughter daily. Marie is incredibly punctual and dependable. My husband and I have shifting work schedules and Marie's flexibility and dependability is unmatched. Marie also performs light household tasks and cooks meals for us. She is an integral part of our household and our daughter loves her! Marie was also in our home during a crisis situation necessitating emergency care for our daughter. Marie assisted us in a calm manner and was incredibly valuable during the event.
