Maria took care of my daughter until she was 10 months old. They became fast friends. Maria is extremely loving and just has a great spirit. She sang and read to my baby (in Spanish and English), worked with her on her milestones, took her for walks and to play groups. My daughter's face lights right up when she sees Maria--they have so much fun together. Maria was also very flexible. When the baby slept, she helped tidy up, did the kids' laundry, cut vegetables for dinner, fed my cat and even picked up groceries. She also made sure my older daughter never felt left out when she was around, and would spontaneously bring them little surprises (Dora slippers! A sparkly headband! Maria was so easy to be around--no uncomfortable silences or awkwardness, which was important for me since I work from home. We feel lucky to have found her.
