Hello! My name is Marianne. I have been working and caring for children with special needs for more than 20 years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology, a Master's degree in Recreational Therapy, and graduate training in Advanced Behavior Analysis. For 12 years, I directed the Aquarium's Full Circle Program, which combined marine animals with children with special needs, to help engage, motivate, and reward them. I also led classroom activities and boating adventures for the children. I am comfortable working with children with diverse diagnosis and creating an atmosphere of fun and accomplishment while maintaining the highest safety standards. I worked providing in-home therapy and tutoring for two years, then worked for a private family as a behavior specialist and a nanny for a 12-year-old boy with autism, tutoring him and implementing his behavioral program. I am available to help you with anything from babysitting and respite care, to permanent nannying and assistance with ADL's, academics, social skills, and other behavioral goals.
