My approach is play based, focused on the child, creating a friendly, nurturing, safe and caring environment. The main emphasis in my work is child/ student focused and oriented, playful learning, reading, arts project, music, healthy eating and nutrition, rarely watching TV so that a nurturing and loving environment with plenty of space for play, exploring for learning, fun, activities and joy can be created for the child(ren)!

We enthusiastically recommend Marianne as a nanny and caretaker for children of any age including infants. Marianne began caring for our daughter when she was 4 months old. For the last 1.5 years she has cared for our daughter full-time. Now that our daughter is going to a day care part-time -- to be exposed to more children and germs -- we hope that Marianne will continue to work for us part-time for years to come. Marianne is an expert in caring for, teaching, playing with, and raising children. She has a tremendous amount of experience with children of various ages, much pedagogic know-how and skills, and most importantly a very big heart. To work with her is easy and efficient, she is willing to learn about the needs and wishes of the family, and at the same time she is a great resource for new parents. Marianne is hard-working, extremely reliable and we trust her 100% with regard to safety, accountability, and loving care for our child.
