I'm a very enthusiastic, friendly person who loves being around kids and strives to make others happy. I've worked as an Adaptive Physical Education Mentor at my high school which entitles personalizing physical workouts to benefit children in the ways that will best fit them. I've also volunteered at the Whatcom Country Parent-Child Institute to assist in helping families accommodate and communicate with their children in the most productive manner. In addition, I was a babysitter for a family with a special needs child upon request, and was their full-time nanny throughout the summer of 2014 until the child and myself returned to school. References are available upon request! I'm currently a full-time student but will be returning home for the duration of the summer which is when I'm aspiring to get a job in child care.

Mariah worked for us for two years caring for our non verbal autistic son. He absolutely loved her. She is the only person we ever trusted outside our family to leave overnight with him. Mariah is more then just a caregiver, she quickly became part of our family and we love her like a daughter. Her personality creates a happy environment for any age child. She really is all about the kids and making them happy and making the time with her fun. Mariah was awesome with our other son who is not disabled and was a positive role model and influence on him. They were like siblings. We so love and admire Mariah and were so sad to see her move away. I would hire her back in a heartbeat!!! I never trusted or felt more relaxed leaving my son with anyone. If your looking for a trustworthy, lovable and dependable caregiver, look no more, she is amazing!!
