About Mariah

Hello All! My name is Mariah and I have about eight years experience working with children of varying ages. I have worked as a camp counselor at two major camps in Boston with campers ranging in ages from 5-15. At these camps, I assured the children's safety, chaperoned during field trips to movies, museums, local events, etc. and made sure the campers made it to scheduled events on time. I also provided support to campers who needed help or just a person to talk to. After my two summers as a camp counselor I worked as an assistant at a small daycare. There, I assisted preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. I helped the kindergarten and first grade aged children with basic Math, letters and numbers and created and assisted with activities, both indoors and outdoors.
