I'm a senior psychology major at the University of San Diego, and will be graduating in December (but will remain in San Diego). In San Diego I've worked as a mother's helper with a 2-year-old boy and 9-month-old girl daily from 6:30-9 a.m. I would help take the kids to the park, play with them, and watch them while their mother worked on other things. I also worked as a date night sitter for a 4-year-old boy and 9-year-old girl, and watched another 2-year-old boy once a week. In high school (back in Texas) I was a date night sitter for a 7-year-old girl during the summer, as well as a pair of siblings (7-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl). Beginning last summer, when I'm home during breaks I cared for a 2-year-old boy nine hours a day, five days a week, and occasionally another 2-year-old child with him. I also volunteer at Texas Tech speech/occupational therapy camps. I currently intern in a clinical child psychology lab, and have a flexible schedule.
