Hello there! My name is Mae, I am a patient and compassionate person, and I have been involved in childcare since I turned 13 and got a job for a neighbor as a mother's helper. I graduated in May of 2020 Cum Laude in Psychology with a minor in Educational Studies. I have experience working at summer camps, in schools, and with families as a nanny/babysitter. The kids I've looked after have ranged in age from 6 months to 14 years old. I am comfortable planning and facilitating fun activities with kids I am also comfortable with light housekeeping duties such as meal prep, laundry, grocery shopping/errands, pet care, and tidying up. I am First Aid, CPR/AED, and Lifeguard certified. Credentials aside, my partner and I are east coast transplants to Las Vegas, so I enjoy exploring the area. Mae watched our 1 year old daughter while we were at a conference in Las Vegas for the weekend. I had originally made a job post on Care.com for a different trip, and I had interviewed her and followed up with her reference. I ended up hiring someone else that trip, but asked her if she'd be backup! I kept her information and she was available for this trip! She was early both days, was in great communication with me during our conference, and handled our teething baby very well! She also gave us great tips for baby signs and was very creative with how she spent her time mostly in the hotel room with our kiddo :) 10 out of 10 would recommend her!
