I am extremely passionate in working with children and adults with special needs. After summer mission trips spent working and caring for those with physical cognitive disabilities, I knew that I needed to pursue a career that allowed me to continue working with them. I am currently an undergraduate pursuing a Pre-Occupational Therapy degree, specifically a psychology and special education major with a biomedical sciences minor. I am continuing to grow in love and knowledge for people with special needs. Previous experience includes working part-time at Hope Haven for nearly two years, working with adults with cognitive disabilities. I also intern and shadow an occupational therapist in educational settings.
