About Madelon

My 15 years of experience in education and direct care make me highly qualified for your needs in everything from child care and elder care. I have worked in public school special education programs, in-home delicate care, and elder care. I have 10 years of experience working with special needs children ages 3-26 and 2 years as a substitute teacher, and 3 years in elder care. My experience is broad and I provide full personal care, distribute medications, tube feeding, transfers, exercise, and diet plans. I love taking hikes in nature and yoga. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I am a mother of three grown boys, and I enjoy domestic life. Balance and organization are my core strengths, and I am a true believer that a healthy lifestyle is key. I love children's books and creating organic art projects. I have a degree in fine arts from Western Michigan University. My volunteer work includes Providence and Beaumont Hospitals. Pets are always a plus!
