About Maddie

Hi! I am a former elementary school teacher turned nurse, who misses working with kiddos and is hoping to babysit again as a result! I worked as an infant teacher at Smith's CECE for a year prior to starting my ABSN program. Before that, I taught fourth and first grade, silversmithing at a camp in Maine to girls aged 7-15, worked as a middle school TA, and also dabbled at another preschool as an Assistant Infant Teacher, caring for 12 babies between the ages of 5-18 months. My experience with children spans almost 15 years and ranges from newborns to teenagers. I adore animals just as much as I love kids, and have a deep-rooted appreciation of all art-related hobbies as a result of growing up with two artists for parents. I am CPR, ACLS and First Aid certified, and am comfortable driving children in my car as needed!
