My childhood best friend had a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum disorder, which led to my passion and understanding of working with individuals with disabilities. As the years progressed I became a peer tutor in high school and later entered college to become a special education teacher. In addition to my hands on experience through school I have also worked at Home of the Innocents and Jefferson County Public Schools for the last 5 years.
