Hello, my name is Mabel. I'm a career nanny with 25+ years of continuous experience: this is my passion! I also have 30 years experience as a kids ministry teacher/director with children of all ages. I have worked with families to care for their infants through PreK, and even one up to preteens, along with raising my two boys. I love to partner with parents to help their children achieve their full potential physically, mentally, socially, and emotionally. When I'm with the children, I love to read, sing songs, do arts and crafts, take them to the museums, playgrounds, enrichment classes, school, and other activities. Anything that engages them in play, creativity or learning is my joy! I speak and read English fluently, Spanish is my first language. I also ensure that the children eat balanced meals. I am CPR/FA-certified and my vaccines are up to date. I love working with children and creating a safe, happy and nurturing environment. I look forward to speaking with you!

When we were hunting for a nanny with our share family for our newborn sons (a daunting process), no other nanny we interviewed held a candle to Mabel. She IS the world's best nanny - so loving, so kind, so patient, disciplined and knowledgeable. She has become part of our families over the past 15-months, and has seriously taught me so much as a parent. She kept our son on a great schedule. She sings, talks and reads to him constantly, and he loves her so much (as do we). She's also not just going through the motions. She's truly passionate about childcare, and it shows. She's so focused on constant progress that he is very ahead of the curve in comparison with other children his age. She has a lifetime of childcare experience and it shows in everything she does. She has a lovely family of her own, and truly loves working with kids! Mabel even spends her free time as a Children's Ministries teacher and director. Any family would be so lucky to have her, and we certainly miss her.
