Hi, I'm Lydia! I am a LPN with two years of experience working in small group home environments where I cared for 2-16 individuals with severe disabilities in need of 24-hour hospital level care, varying in age from 16-mid 80's. I have also worked as a nanny for 9+ years and volunteered for a year at a pediatric rehabilitative home for children with special needs in Jinja, Uganda (East Africa). My time in Uganda led me to pursue training in counseling, and I am now a graduate of Moody Bible Institute with a B. A. in Pre-Counseling. My desire is to meet not only the physical needs of families, but their emotional needs as well, seeking to provide non-judgmental support and care for the people I serve. I love taking care of others and I find it to be the most rewarding jobs there is. In my free time I enjoy art and gardening, and am currently learning Hindi.
