About Lucila

At 16 years old I completed DIF National Caregiver & 1st Aid Courses. At 18, I took care of my grandmother. I took care of my parents through many disabilities. I took care of my husband's disabled parents until they passed away. I have been working with the elderly for over 22 years. I have provided home help, companionship, meal prep, laundry, shopping, changing clothes, bathing, & transportation to appointments. If they have any personal needs or a situation where they need a helping hand, I am there for them. I enjoy helping seniors regain their independence. If the person isn't ready for an assisted living arrangement, I help to keep them from going early. The transition as one ages can be frustrating as you lose the ability to do things for yourself.
