About Lori

I have 8 years experience working in a public school with children that have special needs. I have 15 years of experience taking care of children in their own home. I have cared for multiple children at one time so I can multi task. I just recently moved to Leonard, TX near family. I grew the up in country on a farm. I am 42 years old and have no kids so am available for some overnights. My last job required me to work overnights. I was caring for a 1, 2, and 3-year-old during the day. I took care of the youngest one overnight also while the mom worked at night and the dad slept because he worked during the day. I stayed part of the next day so the mom could get some sleep. I enjoy taking care of children. I like to keep them engaged in something so they don't get bored. I don't just sit around because I like to stay busy. Parents need support raising their children especially if they both have to work. It takes a team. Patience and consistency are very important.
