I currently work for the Fort Zumwalt School District as a Substitute Paraprofessional, and I have worked there for 2 years. I also just recently worked at Wonderland Camp as a Counselor. At the camp, my role was to work 1:1 with kids and adults with special needs and help with all personal care and feeding needs. I graduated May 2017 with my Associates in Paraprofessional Studies and then in May 2018 I received my Autism Specialization Certificate. I absolutely love working in this field with all of my heart! I am now finished with school so I am looking for a full time job within the special needs field.
