I am a Registered Nurse who has raised three children in Duxbury, MA. I am also a former licensed day care provider for children 6 months to 6 years old, including children with special needs. I incorporated preschool curriculum into daily activities, including weekly themes (safety, health, nutrition, holidays, nature, colors, letters, numbers, etc.), story time, imaginative play, arts & crafts, cooking and physical activities. I provided complete care for 6 children, including meals, diapering, toilet training, education and socialization. I have been a Sunday school teacher for 20 years, working with kids of all ages. I am also an English/SAT tutor with experience working with adolescents. I love to work with children of all ages, babies to young adults. I am inspired by their energy, curiosity and free spirit. I would love to establish a long-term relationship with a family.

Lisa was a neighbor and friend when she took in our only child into her loving home daycare. Lisa's experience as a parent and registered nurse was very important as I returned to work and left our daughter in her capable care. She still has many fond memories of being in Lisa's home, learning new things, playing with other children and eating nutritious homemade foods, many of which she never would have tried at home! I highly recommend Lisa for any child care arrangement, based on the wonderful start she provided for our child.
