I have 28 years experience as an In Home Childcare Provider. I have several excellent references available upon request. I care for children ages 3 months through 5 years old. I have been State licensed in Cobb Co. Georgia for 15 years. Further experience includes: Swimming coach, cheerleading coach, team mom for baseball teams 5 years and football association board member. I have been CPR and first aid certified since 1994. I have been a Youth director in our homeowners association for 100+ homes organizing children's events for Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, back to school, fall festivals, etc. I'm dependable, punctual, and organized. My home is always safe and sanitary. Your child will receive nutritious meals and snacks. A non-smoking environment. I am more than just a babysitter. I am a CDA certified teacher and become like a 2nd mom to the kids I care for. I keep a low ratio so that I can give each child all the attention they need and deserve. I have kept children with various special needs, children with; diabetes, open heart surgery, autism, ADHD, heart monitors, leg braces, deaf, blind, etc. I feel well trained in many different areas in early childhood development. I can prepare your child for Georgia Pre-K as I have many! I've potty trained children in as little as 3 days! Your child will learn; ABC's, numbers, colors, shapes, arts and crafts, simple math, science, computer basics, sharing, table manners, taking turns, music, basic Spanish, and most all kindergarten requirements. I studied music in school and love to sing with the kids! Music makes learning fun. We read books, have excursions to parks, museums, movies, the library, etc. (depending upon age) all in a fun, positive, and loving atmosphere where you will feel comfortable knowing that your child is well cared for and can see the happiness in their face when you drop off and pick up. I am a empty nester with 3 college graduates who understands the importance of education. I have reference letters, e-mail addresses and phone numbers of several families that can attest to my responsibilities, reliability, qualifications, love for children, and difference that I've made in each of their child/ren's life. Some of the families I've worked for are early childhood behavior specialists, teachers, nurses, PA's... that have high expectations from me. It's very important to keep an open line of communication between each daycare member and myself to ensure continuity at both your home and mine.
