Hello! I'm Lisa. I'm seeking a position as a senior, special needs, and/or companion caregiver. I'd prefer to work approximately 30 hours per week. I have open availability and am flexible scheduling wise. I am a retired nurse midwife and nurse practitioner. Most recently, I was member of a 24/7 home care team for a 65-year-old bed-bound woman diagnosed with glioblastoma. She required total care. Prior to that I was the primary caregiver for an 89-year-old blind and deaf woman with severe dementia. I spent entire days with her and assisted her with all aspects of life. I enjoy helping the patients I care for live happy, comfortable lives. Experience with cancer, dementia, medication administration, tracheostomy care, Foley catheter care/insertion, enteral feeding tube care, PICC line care, assisting with therapy exercises, and bathing/grooming.
