When I was 10 years old my mother gave birth to my little sister. I grew up helping take care of her and continue to do so today. I love children and I am going to school to become an elementary school teacher. I worked at the YMCA for almost 3 years in their seasonal camps, in their daycare center, as a coach in the sports programs, as an aid for special needs children, and in their after school programs. I left the YMCA to become a nanny and three years later I am still a nanny who has become very passionate about my position and the role I play in these children's lives. I am kind, patient, understanding, silly yet serious, I encourage playing, reading, singing, dancing, and so much more. I think calm problem solving is very important with children, and I also tend to discourage watching television or playing on iPads, unless the parents prefer these activities. Working with children is everything to me, it is my life and I dedicate myself to providing the best and most safe environment and situations for them.
