I recently graduated with my Masters Degree in Speech Pathology. I previously worked at an Autism School in Toledo as a paraprofessional and substitute teacher. I worked with children from ages of 5-21 with low functioning- high functioning autism. I was a tutor for a 15-year-old boy with autism and we worked on developing his social and language skills. I have also worked with children who are deaf/hard of hearing and who have auditory processing disorder. I am enthusiastic about learning and always willing to work with children with varying diagnosis. I can communicate through sign language at an intermediate skill level. I have always had a passion for working with children with special needs and have found that each child is different and always has something to teach me.
