My name is Lily and I am interested in caring for a young child. I am a patient, energetic, and loving woman with an affinity for babies and young children. I've worked with children in a daycare setting, as well as directed a daycare. I taught elementary school at the first and second grade levels for 7 years, and worked as a Child Abuse Prevention Specialist with a non-profit called The Pebble Project for the last 12 years. I also raised my own child who has just been launched and is attending college. I prefer a part-time position as I also care for pets and do an assortment of odd jobs. I recognize that when I'm being asked to care for someone's precious child, doing so is my only agenda and I give all my attention to the task. I love to sing with children, and read books and get down on the floor and play. Being with children is a passion for me and I would love to care for your child! In addition, I love to cook and am happy to do household chores. In my spare time throw pottery and spend time in nature.
